GENERATION 1
 
JOHN WILLIS is the original immigrant to the American Colonies of THE MARYLAND GROUP within the Willis Y-DNA Project at Family Tree DNA.  As of November 2018,  there are 13 descendants who have tested into this group.  On the project home page,  the lineage of these descendants are described in the summaries:

John Willis of Dorchester County, Maryland;
Jacob Willis of Rutherford County, North Carolina;  and,
William John Willis of Baltimore,  Maryland,  and Warren County, Ohio.
